  • Cold was medium is a translucent wax-based oil painting medium. Contains wax, Zellen White Spirits and alkyd resin. Cold wax medium makes oil colours more transparent and matte.
  • Cold wax medium can be mixed together wit hpowder pigments and thins with turpentine or mineral spirits.It is recommended using a ratio of 1:2 oil to paint medium. Using a rigid surface or adding additional resinds the ratio of wax to pait can increase. Drying time varies depending on method use.
