ZELLEN Cold Wax Medium

Cold wax medium is a translucent wax-based oil painting medium. Contains wax, Zellen White Spirits and alkyd resin. Cold wax medium makes oil colours more transparent and matte while adding body and depth to the oil paint.

Cold wax medium can be mixed together with powder pigments and thins with turpentine or mineral spirits. It is recommended using a ratio of 1:2 oil to paint medium. Drying time varies depending on method use. A fantastic medium with endless possibilities for the artist to embrace.
