PLATINUM Ink

Platinum's famous permanent waterproof ink. Platinum's Carbon and Pigment Inks are highly pigmented ink suitable for fountain pens - for documents, drawings (including line and wash) and general-purpose use. The use of pigmented ink improves the water-resisting property, light stability and heat-resisting properties. That is why they are ideal for important documents such as official documents which need to be stored for a long time. Some people use the ink to draw a rough design for a picture painted in watercolors or colored inks because carbon ink is run-proof. 

Notes:

• For best results, use it with an absorbent paper and allow it to dry for 24 hours before exposing the ink to water.
• This ink contains pigment particles, which can cause clogging if allowed to dry out inside of a pen. When using this ink, we recommend giving your pen a good cleaning every 4 to 6 weeks, or if you don't plan on using the pen for a week or longer.
